The CEO of Four Seasons Energy Efficient Roofing, Inc., Darrell Schaapveld, has served the upper Midwest area for over 40 years in the commercial and residential roofing industries. While attending the University of Minnesota’s business school, Darrell Schaapveld worked for a roofing company which completed residential and commercial projects. The ecological movement of the 1960’s and 1970’s greatly shaped his values and beliefs, which have been embedded into his personal and business philosophies.

• 1982: Darrell Schaapveld founded an independent roofing business; Four Seasons Builders and Remodelers. This company provided residential and commercial roofing, remodeling, gutter and siding work while acquiring experience and expertise on a diverse range of roofing projects. Through the years, the company has used a variety of roofing systems, learning as it grew and selecting the best products available to the industry.
