The CEO of Four Seasons Energy Efficient Roofing, Inc., Darrell Schaapveld, has served the upper Midwest area for over 45 years in the commercial and residential roofing industries. While attending the University of Minnesota’s business school, Darrell Schaapveld also worked for a large roofing company. Moreover, the ecological movement of the 1960’s and 1970’s greatly shaped his values and beliefs, which have been embedded into his personal and business philosophies.

• 1982: Darrell Schaapveld founded an independent roofing business: Four Seasons Builders and Remodelers. This company provided residential and commercial roofing, remodeling, gutter and siding work while acquiring experience and expertise on a diverse range of roofing projects. Through the years, the company has used a variety of roofing systems, learning as it grew and selecting the best products available to the industry.
• 1998: Four Seasons Builders and Remodelers received its Duro-Last certification, after testing the product and discovering the value that Duro-Last brought to the business and its clients.
• 2003: Darrell Schaapveld created Four Seasons Energy Efficient Roofing, Inc. in order to dedicate all of his previous company’s (Four Season Builders and Remodelers) experience toward ecologically sound and energy efficient commercial roofing.
