Duro-Last is a strong, reinforced thermoplastic single-ply membrane, PVC or CPA, that is perfect for commercial and industrial buildings with flat or low-sloped roofs. It is the highest Energy Star rated roof, with it being 86% reflective even after three years. A Duro-Last Roof is custom-made, "precision fabricated," and resistant to fire, chemicals, grease, high winds, and punctures. It is energy-efficient, leak-proof, durable, long-lasting, and recyclable. Solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and green roofs can be installed on top of it. Once installed, it is virtually maintenance-free. Many Duro-Last roofs have outlasted their owners’ expectations by 5 - 10 years or more.

Duro-Last claims over 30 years of reliability and durability, and is expected to last as long as 35 – 40 years, decades longer than many other roofing systems. The Duro-Last formula has remained unchanged since 1978.

Duro-Last is cost competitive to all other commercial roofing systems. However, with the Duro-Last Roofing System, most of the customer’s money goes into the materials (quality and NOT labor). Meanwhile, other roofing systems often have cheaper materials with the customer mainly paying for the labor to install the roof, not materials.

Moreover, with 50% of roof failure caused by poor installation (see graph below), a roof customer would want to avoid having excessive labor required on their roof. Because 85% of the seams are made in the factory, a Duro-Last Roof lessens the amount of labor time on the project site and thereby eliminating potential failures.

What’s more, Duro-Last claims the best warranty in the roofing industry--a "15 Year No Dollar Limit" (NDL). This warranty is transferable and covers labor, materials, consequential damage, and ponding water.

Building A = Other Roofing Systems and Building B = Duro-Last Roofing System

Duro-Last is the highest Energy Star rated roof system with a reflectivity 87.6% in the first year, and will remain at 86% even after three years. This means that less heat will be absorbed by the building and its machinery, allowing it to stay cooler than with other roofing systems, which are at best only 26% solar reflective, if that. Consequently, your business will use less energy to heat and cool the building. Duro-Last material can be installed over 90% of existing roofing systems, meaning that millions of tons of roofing material waste do not go to landfills. Moreover, Duro-Last is a co-polymer alloy (CPA), which is 100% recyclable at the plant so scraps can be reprocessed and recycled repeatedly. Post-consumer Duro-Last materials can be recycled and reused in a variety of ways including walkway pads on roofs and around ice rinks, liners for land fills, carpeting, flooring, speed bumps, and asphalt road patching material.
